It’s just as fast (if not faster in some cases) than a car to actually get to where you’re going, and all of that without breaking a sweat!
We love our rangers! We bought two and they have served our family very well so far. We have two daughters, 4 and 7 years old, and they love to ride on the back. Even though this is a "compact" cargo bike, at their weight and size, both of our girls can fit on one bike. We'll see if that's still the case next summer, but for now it works great with one or two on the back. They get so excited to ride and it's been so much fun, and so very easy, to just jump on the bikes and cruise to a playground, park, pool, restaurant, or just take a ride on the giant network of paths and trails throughout Minneapolis. We’ve only had these for a little more than a month, but we’ve already had so many good family memories on them. We’re are so looking forward to the rest of the summer with these!
After we got these my 7 year old insisted on getting to and from school on the ranger...and we did pretty much every day that it wasn't raining. I’ve heard her talk to her friends and teachers at school about how much she loves them. Whenever she complains about being “bored” all I have to do is mention the ebike and she is up and out the door. I've strapped a large basket to the back seat for grocery runs. I've met friends for lunches, dinners, and happy hours at times and locations I may have otherwise passed on if I were driving or riding my regular bike. There’s no need to worry about endlessly driving around looking for parking or walking several blocks once you find a space. Just pull up to where you’re going and you’re be good to go. Just a good all-purpose city cruiser for where ever you need to go.
So far the experience has exceeded expectations. The ranger rides well, has a very perky motor, battery life has been very good, and we've inspired other friends of ours to get their own ebikes. So much fun!
